Spotlight on U.S Team: “Our Whole Team Brings Creativity and Energy to the Table”

Standard

We caught up with Clare White, one of our earliest blog contributors recently turned social media consultants. Clare graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011 with degrees in Journalism and Public Relations.

1. How did you get started with Anchal?

I’ve known Colleen [director of Anchal Project] for many years and over the years I watched her create this amazing organization for a cause that was really important to me. Anchal had a combination of everything I was passionate about; art and design, social responsibility, and women’s issues. I always knew I wanted to help out if I had the opportunity, and luckily after I graduated from college last summer, the timing worked out for me to be able to lend a hand.

2. What do you bring to the Anchal team?

I help mostly with the organization’s communications strategies. What I try to bring to Anchal is a fresh perspective and some of the social media knowledge that I’ve learned through my job and personal experience. But I think what makes Anchal work so well is that our whole team brings creativity and energy to the table – and we have fun doing it!

Thanks to Clare for all her great advice on how to effectively increase our communications and social media!
