Meet Our New Writers

Anchal is excited to announce that Brittany Coppola and Paige Henney will be guest writing for our blog this summer. Both Brittany and Paige are courageous and passionate young women who believe in making a difference and inspiring others to do the same. So please give them a warm welcome & look for their first posts this Wednesday and Thursday!

Brittany Coppola graduated from Centre College in May 2011 with degrees in Spanish and International Studies. While at Centre she piloted the first-ever study abroad program in Spain. She also had the opportunity to study abroad in Cameroon and Mexico. While in Cameroon she studied gender issues and grassroots movements, and in Mexico she worked teaching female artisan entrepreneurs business skills. Just recently she returned from India after completing the 9 month IDEX Fellowship in Social Enterprise. While in India Brittany worked alongside her owner to coordinate an IDEX Cricket League, restore the library and create new reading and writing curricula. She also interned with the Indian School Finance Company (ISFC) researching how to make their loans more efficient for the low-income schools they serve. In her free time she enjoys reading, running, & yoga.

Paige Henney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design as a recent graduate from the University of Cincinnati. During her college studies, she was lucky enough to take part in a Study Abroad program that went to Turkey, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Paige also participated in a co-op program that gave her internship experience in cities from Louisville to Fort Myers to Los Angeles. Most recently, she worked for an event production firm in New York City. Her passion for design and belief that it has the ability to bring positive change led her to Anchal.
