On this grey late summer morning (at least in Oakland, California) I thought it might brighten things up a bit to share some words of encouragement written by girls incarcerated at facilities in the bay area to our artisans in India. While the content is directed to the artisans’ particular experiences as commercial sex workers I think we can all find inspiration in the fundamental reminder to breathe, follow our passions and delight in our inherent beauty.
